L'ÉMERGENCE the BRAHMA KUMARIS Centre of Montreal, is a place where we can learn to return to the source of life - the soul... where we can leave behind the many storms that upset our minds and our lives. We tend to forget that our thoughts can be shaped and used in ways that allow us to live in harmony with ourselves. L'ÉMERGENCE wants to help each one of us rediscover this inner source of peace, our own soul, our own precious gift of life.

WORLD SPIRITUAL UNIVERSITY

BRAHMA KUMARIS
In its simplest definition, "spirituality" means knowing how to live with meaning and purpose. The Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University, with over 8 500 branches in 100 countries, offers people of all backgrounds an opportunity to deepen their understanding of universal spiritual principles and learn a range of spiritual skills through a variety of educational programs, courses and learning resources.

The University is a non-governmental organisation in general consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations, in consultative status with UNICEF and affiliated to the UN Department of Public Information. The Brahma Kumaris are also the recipient of seven UN Peace Messenger awards.

The University is an independent body and there are no fees for its services. Each Centre is administered and supported financially by the voluntary contributions of its teachers and students who live and work in the local community.
